The Role

We are:

 A lively and purposeful co-educational, comprehensive state boarding school for children aged 7 to 18 years, with approximately 670 flexi-boarders and 430 full boarders.

The school is a popular choice for local families who attend on our flexi boarding package, as well as for full boarders from further afield in the UK and internationally. This is due to a wide range of factors including our facilities, academic pathways and results, pastoral care, the boarding and flexi-boarding ethos and environment, wide range of trips and co-curricular activities and the resultant attitudes of its pupils.

Hours: Monday – Sunday

The Role:

The Co-Curricular programme is a large part of the school day with the ethos being “work hard, play hard, try something new”.

We have a full timetable of pool activities plus an evening programme for our boarders, which runs from 7.30pm-9.00pm, Monday – Friday. There will also be sessions during the weekend.

We are looking for professional qualified lifeguards who will be responsible for the children’s safety in the swimming pool. This role requires good observation and supervision skills and the ability to be able to educate and communicate to the children to adhere to the pool rules.
